Sharing Stories aims at featuring aspiring Authors from across the world to bring World Harmony through Writing. Under this campaign we aim to get into the minds of these talented writers and inspire the world to start spending 15 minutes every day on writing, de-cluttering their thoughts and thereby bringing clarity in their life.

Ria! A passionate girl, who takes a bold step to leave her home, breaking stereotypes to take charge of her life and follow her dreams.


Tell us a bit about your family, likes and dislikes as a person.

I am a mother of two kids and wife to a loving and caring husband. I like to encourage and inspire others. I dislike the baseless social norms still prevailing in our society.


According to you which are the 5 books everyone should read and also Who are your top 3 Authors?

The Alchemist, Make Love Not Scars, The monk who sold his ferrari, Life is what you make it, I am Malala are the books I would recommend all to read.

From what I have read so far, According to me, the best Authors are Sudha Murthy, Robin Sharma, Ruskin Bond.


"Read a lot, be open to criticism and write what you enjoy. Help each other learn and grow." says Sonia Madaan when asked on what she would like to suggest to other young authors.


Can you share a few lines from your book and maybe give a bit of background?

This book is a collection of 5 stories, some stories aim to inspire readers, while the others are aimed at creating much needed awareness about baseless social norms prevailing in our society over ages and look towards eradicating them and the book also is committed to keep the readers entertained.

Favorite Place, Person, Food, beverage….

Himachal Pradesh is my favorite place. (Nature attracts me). My favourite person is Sairee Chahal, founder of Sheroes, empowering women from all over the country. I prefer Indian veg meal, good for soul and body. In beverages, anything besides aerated drinks.
